Nice to meet you! My name is Lauren (Lo) Mungo. I am a Los Angeles based actress, Chicago native and the creative mind behind Lo Life Lately.

Over the years, I've developed a deep appreciation for quality and craftsmanship - from fashion to furniture. Unfortunately, the caliber of the items I desired didn't mesh with my 'up and coming' actress' bank account. Champagne tastes on a beer budget. (Although I'd probs prefer a beer in this scenario, but not the point.) Coveting items that were financially outside my reach encouraged me to get creative- scouring sales, recreating my favorite restaurant's dishes and DIY-ing A LOT of home projects.

Lo Life Lately is place where I can share my latest shopping scores, favorite recipes, Ikea hacks and beauty tips. Whether you're ballin' on a budget or straight ballin', my hope is to inspire people to get a little creative.
